Research for 2024

Well 2024 passed in the blink of an eye.

My true passion is hardware, my honest opinion is that the worlds problems will not be solved by an app.

I still think its a great way to start.

I dream of personal computers, where you buy the computer and it just does what you need it to do without hundreds of third party apps.

Interested in: new modes of transportation, cars as freedom machines, technofarming, local LLMs, chip design, the next decade which I believe will be truly technological...

Very excited for the next generation of mobile chips and where 2nm brings us.

We need to ask ourselves: what should AI really do for you? (and what can it actually do, that is new?)

The current paradigm of intelligent devices is rapidly starting to look like the last decade in automotive operating systems.

Where each car has their "personal assistant" where the main usage of it is summoning it upon accident and then scrambling to find how to close it again.

This is already happening with my phone.

2024 was also the first year where I felt the little edge that was left in the mobile device market was rapidly flattened.

I will try to write more in 2025, lots of thoughts but very little time to walk through each one in detail.

It is a great time to be optimistic, everyone, the art world, architecture world and technology world knows that the next decade is going to be technological.

And we have to be ambitious.
